Barton County Man Injured In Northwest Kansas Accident

HOXIE – A Barton County man was injured when his vehicle hit a guardrail Monday morning near the Sheridan County town of Hoxie.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 56 year old Mark Cross of Pawnee Rock was northbound on K-23 shortly before 7 a.m. when his 2007 Ford pickup crossed the center line and drifted into the west ditch. Cross overcorrected to the right and hit the guardrail.
Cross was taken to Sheridan County Health Complex.

Cross was wearing a seat belt.
