Great Bend Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault in Great Bend Monday night involving the discharge of a firearm. Great Bend Police Sergeant Gary Davis, and he said officers were called to the 200 block of Pine Street around 8:45 Monday night, where they met with a subject who said a known subject had pointed a gun at him and as he drove off, fired a shot in the air.
