HOSINGTON VOLLEYBALL POSTGAME Head Coach Tina Johnson and Senior Mallory Flagor joined Eagle Radio’s Steve Owens following the Cardinals loss to Hillsboro in the championship game.
The St. John Tigers are the Champions in Class 1A Division-I for the second straight year while the Hoisington Cardinals recorded their highest finish ever in State Volleyball Tournament action over the weekend.
St. John was pushed in the final by Centralia but the Tigers were able to grab the victory 25-21, 23-25, 25-12. St John ends the season with a record of 43-2.
Hoisington barely got to Saturday after going just 1-2 on Friday but took advantage of the opportunity on Saturday and they take 2nd in Class 3A. After knocking off Phillipsburg in the semi’s, the Cardinals lost to Hillsboro in the Championship match 17-25, 23-25. Hosington ends the season 39-6.
