OBITUARY INFORMATION

Married Marie A. Danek November 25, 1978 at Great Bend, Kansas. 

He was owner and operator of Stremel Oilfield Service.

Mr. Stremel was an Albert, Kansas, resident since 1986 coming from Arkansas City, Winfield, and Great Bend.

He was a United States Air Force veteran serving in the Vietnam Conflict.

He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend; Parish Council, and Eucharistic Minister; and Knights of Columbus Council #2100, Olmitz. He loved to farm and loved his grandchildren.

     Edwin Stremel of Pittsburg, KS

Two Daughters: Krystal “Kristi” Ocker and her husband Paul of Minneapolis, KS

 Nicole “Nikki” Stevens and her husband Josh of Pawnee Rock, KS

One Brother: Sam Stremel and his wife Rhonda of Great Bend, KS

Three Sisters: Margie Linsner and her husband Bob of Wichita, KS

          Patti Denson of Bangor, PA

          His twin Vicki Gregory and her husband Terry of Murfreesboro, TN

Six Grandchildren: Reilly Smith, Calleah Stevens, P. J. Ocker, Lillee Stevens, Kaleb Ocker, and Phlynn Ocker

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend

Interment: Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend, Kansas

Visitation:  9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home
