Mr. Sharp was a farmer and operated a poultry business and a swine confinement operation. He was also a Hutchinson News motor carrier.
Mr. Sharp was a lifetime Great Bend, Kansas resident.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School Teacher, officer, and deacon; was active in Barton County Farm Bureau; and was a community 4-H leader.

Three Great-grandchildren: Dylan Warren, Zachary Findley, Reed Warren
He was preceded in death by brother, Raymond Sharp; and sisters, Deborah Hobble, Eunice Sherwood, and Laura Philips; and one grandson, Adam Sharp.
