Married Jay W. Bean June 29, 1933 at LaCrosse, Kansas. He died March 7, 1963. She was a clerk at the Dodge City Dillon’s store and was a pastry clerk in various Dillon’s locations. Mrs. Bean was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1977 coming from Pueblo, Colorado. She was a member of First Christian Church. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Scothorn and Raleigh Scothorn, and one sister, Mae Ashley.

Graveside Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2012, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.
