OBITUARY INFORMATION

Married Pete J. Scheck November 21, 1938 at Walker, Kansas.  He died March 19, 2004.

She was a sales clerk for Big A Auto Parts and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Scheck was a Hays, Kansas, resident since 2004 coming from Great Bend, where she had resided since 1941.

She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and Daughters of Isabella, all of Great Bend. She was a hospice volunteer and a foster parent to more than twenty-five children.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Jane Brown; six brothers, Andrew Scheck, Richard Scheck, Ray Scheck, John Scheck, Infant Joseph Scheck, and Severeign Scheck; and three sisters, Amelia Lange, Helen Woodward, and Regina Miller.
