OBITUARY INFORMATION

Married Frederick William “Bill” Blehm May 5, 1939 at Bazine, Kansas.  He died September 18, 1993.

She was a homemaker and was a bookkeeper for Bazine Co-op and Boogaart’s Grocery Store, Great Bend; and later cleaned houses.

Mrs. Blehm was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1957 coming from Bazine, Kansas.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Great Bend.

She loved to embroider, do word-search puzzles, and spend time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Blehm; seven brothers, Benjamin Wittman, Jacob “Jake” Wittman, Ted Wittman, August Wittman, William Wittman, Herman Wittman, and Reuben Wittman, three sisters, Millie Holmes, Marie Schenkel, and Infant Maria Wittman; and two grandchildren, Curtis Schneidewind and Randy Blehm.

Funeral Service: Monday, April 9, 2012

Time of Service: 11:00 a.m.

Place of Service: Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend

Officiant: The Reverend James A. Strasen

Interment: Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas

Visitation:  2:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home

Memorial Fund: Trinity Lutheran Church or Joyful Praise Bell Ringers or Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of Bryant Funeral Home
