Mr. Miller was a 1957 graduate of Great Bend High School.
Married Marilyn Fern Betts at Great Bend. They later divorced.
Married Loretta K. Bradshaw May 25, 1985 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
He was owner and operator of Oilfield Manufacturer’s Warehouse, Miller Plastics, Miller Ranch, and Charlie’s Place.
Mr. Miller was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1946, living briefly in Texas and Southern California.
He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, was a founding board member and current president of Kansas Oil and Gas Museum, Kansas Independent Oil and Gas Association (KIOGA), Texas Longhorn Breeders Association President, the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development board of directors, Knights of Columbus Council #862, and Elks Lodge #1127. He was a Barton County Reserve Sheriff’s Deputy. He was recipient of the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award in 2012.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Michael L. Miller.

Place of Service: St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home
