Rozel – Ruby L. Ideker, 87, died July 29, 2012 at the McCrite Plaza Retirement Community, Topeka.

 She was born May 24, 1925 in Hargrave, Kansas; the daughter of John and Grace Carson Kaiser. A longtime area resident she was a homemaker.

 She was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church, Rush Center, the ELCA, Walnut Valley Senior Center and the Walnut Valley card club.

 On August 7, 1947 she married Vernon Ideker at LaCrosse. He died December 31, 2006.

 Survivors include two sons; Gary and wife Faye, Topeka, Neal, Rozel, two daughters; Vicki and husband Marvin Self, Topeka, Kathy and husband Chuck Deuth, Sun Lakes, Arizona, a sister; Edna Fern Sell, LaCrosse, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by; a daughter; Janice Ideker and a brother; Junior Kaiser.

 Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hope Lutheran Church, Rush Center with Pastor Patricia Reep presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday with family present from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
