OBITUARY INFORMATION
At the age of four, he was adopted by Lewis and Emma (Lynn) Nutting and moved to Southwest Missouri.
Married Helen Luticia Sanders March 18, 1934 at Rural Stafford County, Kansas. She died January 30, 2005.
He started farming as a teenager with a team of horses. He was a farmer and ranch foreman for W. A. Cross Ranch for
twenty-five years.
Mr. Nutting was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 2002, coming from Lewis.
He was a member of First Assembly of God, Kinsley, Kansas.
He wrote music and started writing poetry at age 95. He loved farming, ranching, being outdoors, playing pool,
dominoes, gospel music, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, antique tool collecting, mechanic work, and University of
Kansas basketball. Above all else, he loved the Lord and studying the Bible.

Great-great-grandchildren: Three

He was preceded in death by five brothers, John Sisler, Marion Sisler, Richard Alford Sisler, Charlie Sisler, and an infant
brother; and four sisters, Nellie Bardell, Maggie Hill, Mary McClellan, and Lula E. Metz, and two grandchildren, Sherie
Lynn Tillman and Matthew Towner.
