Mr. Newick was a Great Bend, Kansas resident for sixteen years coming from Chepstow, England.
He attended Trinity Lutheran Church, Great Bend. He was a Kansas Board of Emergency Services certified MICT, working for Russell County EMS and Midwest Life Team. He had previously worked for the Great Bend Fire Department. He was an American Heart Association Basic Life Support instructor and Heartsaver instructor, an Emergency Pediatric Care instructor, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support instructor.
