A Hoisington teenager was transported to a Wichita Hospital following an accident involving fireworks this past weekend.
According to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, at approximately 10:20 p.m., 15 year-old Christopher Wright and 13 year-old Brenner Donovan were playing with fireworks at 646 North Homestead, when a firework went off causing major burns to Donovan’s right hand, arm, and face.
After being taken and treated at Clara Barton Hospital, Donovan was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita for his injuries.
