Belpre – Joyce J. Gales, 75, died February 16, 2013 at her home in Belpre. She was born April 7, 1937 in Harper, the daughter of William and Garnett Yordon Parker. She worked at the Henry Laird Library, Belpre.
She as of the Christian/Catholic faith. She was a member of the VFW ladies Auxiliary, and the St. Bernard’s Alter Society.
On October 16, 1956, she married Robert Gales in Larned. He survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Jake Gales and wife Laurie, Belpre; two daughters, Vickie Booze and husband Randy, Larned, Patty Stapleton and husband Mike, Garden City; a sister, Judy Labor, Independence, MO.; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Joe and Bill Parker.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Belpre Cemetery, Belpre, with Minister James Underwood presiding. Visitation will be from 1p.m. to 8p.m. Sunday and 9a.m. to 8p.m. Monday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Belpre Cemetery, Belpre.
