OBITUARY INFORMATION

Mr. Feist attended Sts. Peter and Paul Elementary School and was a 1963 graduate of Claflin High School.

Married Linda Jennings February 13, 1971 at Lebanon, Kansas. 

He was an oilfield supply salesman working for Misco and Bovard and was a 15-year employee of Sunrise Oilfield Supply.

Mr. Feist was a lifetime Barton County resident.

He a United States Navy Veteran serving aboard the USS Oklahoma Cityduring the Vietnam Conflict. 

He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, A. P. I., KIOGA, and the board of directors of the Kansas Oil and Gas Museum.

Two Daughters: Kimberly Brown of Hutchinson, KS, Angela Jensen and her husband Alan of Haslet, TX

Three Sisters: Carol Hickel and husband Ken of Great Bend, KS, Connie Wilcoxen and husband Walt of Gainesville, TX, Mary Sleppy and husband John of Abilene, TX

Two Brothers: Tom Feist and wife Marie of Great Bend, KS, Gene Feist and wife Doris of Claflin, KS

Eight Grandchildren: Brittany Mazzoleni, Shelby Mazzoleni, Sierra Brown, Riley Brown, MaKenna Feist, Cole Feist, Macey Feist, and Savannah Jensen and a granddaughter expected in the next few days

Two brothers-in-law: Gary Jennings and wife Terry of Stanfield, AZ and Larry Jennings and wife Susan of Paola, KS

Several nieces and nephews

 

Preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Theresa Feist

Vigil Service: 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend

Officiant: Father Don Bedore

Interment: Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ellinwood, Kansas

Visitation:  Noon to 9:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home

Memorial Fund: Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice or St. Rose Foundation to benefit the Heartland Cancer Center, in care of Bryant Funeral Home
