Judith A. Zook, 72, passed away very peacefully on June 19th 2013, at her home in Zook, Ks surrounded by her family.
She was born July 16, 1940 in Lyons, KS, the daughter of Clyde William and Genevieve Mortimore Cutler.
Judy was very active helping her husband David with the farming and ranching operation in the Zook community, as well as, owning and operating, for 33 years, the Double “D” Western Store in Larned, KS. After retirement, Judy enjoyed attending her granddaughters’ activities, supporting the local 4-H youth and visiting her son Daniel.
On May 13th ,1972 she married D. David Zook at the Southwestern College Chapel, Winfield Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son Daniel Zook, Roanoke, TX, a daughter Debbie and husband Eli Makings and granddaughters Dava and Alea Makings, Larned, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father Melvin Houser.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. June 24th, at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Zook, KS.
