OBITUARY INFORMATION

 

Helen married Alvie J. Suchy December 29, 1943 at Olmitz, KS.  He died November 14, 1986.

Mrs. Suchy was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1943 coming from Timken, KS.

Helen was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Altar Society, Great Bend.  She enjoyed all aspects of homemaking, including sewing, crocheting, baking, and gardening.  She also enjoyed her pet dogs and rock hunting and collecting.

One daughter: Carol Delaney & Husband Jerry of Wichita, KS

Two Brothers:  William Vsetecka of Great Bend, KS

                           Leonard Vsetecka of Brunswick, GA

Three Grandchildren: Randy Mitchell and wife Konni of Ellinwood, KS

                                        Darrell Mitchell and wife Michelle of Great Bend, KS

                                        Tammy Mitchell of Ellinwood, KS

Eight Great-Grandchildren:  Hannah Ryan, Aaron Mitchell, Ryan Motes, Brandon Goodenough, Tristan Mitchell,  

                                                   Tori Mitchell, Justin Dwinell, and Katelyn Lefebvre

Three Great-Great Grandchildren:  Hunter Ryan, Zoey Ryan, and Jacie Goodenough

 

She was preceded in death by one infant brother, Edward; one stillborn sister, and five brothers: Emil Vsetecka, Edward Vsetecka, Joseph Vsetecka, B.F. Vsetecka, and Victor Vsetecka.

Visitation:  9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home
