Mr. Mead was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 2003 coming from Herndon, Virginia.

Bill was a graduate of Fort Hays State University.

He was a member of First Christian Church in Great Bend, Experimental Aircraft Association and a life member of Ducks Unlimited.

two daughters: Jackie Lynn Fletcher and her husband Rob of Warrenton, VA

Julie Ann Sarracino and her husband Louie of Leesburg, VA

one brother: Bob Mead of Great Bend, KS

four Grandchildren: Katelyn Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher and Riley Sarracino, Rachel Sarracino

He was preceded in death by brother, Gary Mead.
