Phillipsburg- Stacy Ann Berends, 36, died August 30, 2013 at Phillipsburg KS

She was born December 21, 1976 in Kansas City. She was a resident of Hill City and the Philipsburg area for the past ten years. She was a mother and a homemaker.

She attended the First Baptist Church of Larned.

In 2011, she married Kenneth Berends in Hill City. He survives.

Other survivors include; a daughter, Abigail Wanker, of the home; her parents, George and Kay Joseph-Elmore, Larned; a brother, Scott Elmore, Park City; a sister, Christina (Mike) Arnone, Kearny, MO.; Grandparents, Jack & Louise Elmore, Rozel and Mary Joseph, Garden City.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Gilbert Joseph.

Funeral will be at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Dave Clapham presiding. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. to 8 P.M. Monday and Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
