Janice married Charles Waknitz December 27, 1966 at Wichita, KS. He survives.

A retired thirty year school teacher, Janice was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1976, coming from Kinsley, KS.

Janice was a member of Foundry Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending her time scrapbooking pictures of her grandchildren, planting flowers, and gardening. She especially loved her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Billy Joe Howerton.
