Alexander married JoAnne Johnson of Oakley, KS. They were later divorced.

He worked for Oakley IGA as a grocer.

Mr. Rodie was a Ft. Dodge, Kansas resident since 1996 coming from Oakley, KS.

He served in the U.S. Army.

SURVIVORS

One brother: Richard Rodie and wife Virginia of Ness City, KS

Many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Vernon Rodie, Wayne Rodie, and Robert Rodie.

Date and Time of Graveside Service: Thursday, October 31, 2013, at 2:00 p.m.

Place of Graveside Service: Otis Lutheran Cemetery, Otis, Kansas, with military honors

Visitation: Wednesday, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, at Bryant Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Officiant: Rev. Bruce Adamson
