OBITUARY INFORMATION

 

Married Patsy Anne Howell January 26, 1962 at Timmonsville, S. C.  She died April 29, 2013.

He worked in agriculture throughout his entire life, working on a poultry livestock farm, a dairy, hog farms, and at Tar Hill Turkey Hatchery. He also taught Agriculture Mechanics at the Timmonsville Vocational Center and South Florence High School. He enjoyed yard work, planting flowers and trees, hunting, fishing, and watching and playing sports.

 

SURVIVORS

 

two sons: The Rev. Gerald Alexander  and his wife Rebecca of Portland, Tenn., and Louie Charlton Alexander and his wife Teresa of Easley, S. C.

two daughters: Mavie Lynn Pettit of Seneca, S. C., and The Rev. Patricia Reep of Albert, Kan.

five brothers: Laurie Alexander of Timmonsville, S. C., Jessie Clifton Alexander, Jr. of Sumter, S. C., John Alexander of Casset, S. C., Jack Alexander of Timmonsville, S. C., and Russell Alexander of Timmonsville, S. C.

two sisters: Alma Jean Brown of North Augusta, S. C., and Fran Lovelace of Spring Lake, N. C.

Grandchildren: Nine

Great-grandchildren: Twelve

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son-in-law, Kenneth Reep, one brother, Franklin Alexander, and one sister, Ruth Spring.

 

SERVICE INFORMATION

 

Memorial Service: 6:30 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013 Peace Lutheran Church, south of Albert, Kan.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church in Easley, S. C.

Officiant: Pastor Steve Little and Pastor Robert Reese

Visitation:  Family will receive friends at the home of Mavie Pettit, 250 Kelly Mill Road, Seneca, S. C.

Memorial Fund: Easley Dialysis Center or the Kidney Foundation, in care of Bryant Funeral Home
