He married Elaine Hooper March 24, 1957 at Green Mountain Falls, Colorado.  She died August 30, 2013.

He was owner and operator of Walnut Hill Feeders and Taylors Toys.

Mr. Taylor was a lifetime Great Bend, Kansas resident.

He was a United States Army Reserve veteran. 

He was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ.  He raised and enjoyed showing championship Hereford cattle.

one daughter: Peggy Taylor of Lawrence, KS

two grandchildren: Nathan Billings and Elizabeth Billings

one great-grandchild: Nora Billings

 

He was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Taylor.
