He was a fuel truck driver for S & J Trucking.

Cory was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 2008 coming from Arlington and Hutchinson area.

He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #862, both of Great Bend. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, reading, gardening, and handyman carpentry work.
