Married Virgil L. Springfeldt November 23, 1940 at Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.  He died June 7, 1992.

She and her husband were owner and operator of IGA of Bushton and Kwik Shop of Great Bend.

Mrs. Springfeldt was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1972 coming from Bushton, Kansas.

She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing the piano and cello.

three sons: Mike Springfeldt of St. John, KS, Matt Springfeldt of Great Bend, KS, and Mark Springfeldt of Great Bend, KS

two daughters: Martha Cheshire of Bushton, KS, and Mary Garner of St. John, KS

sister-in-law, Bonnie Clough of Tulsa, OK

Grandchildren: Fifteen

Great-grandchildren: Twenty-Two

 

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret Ann Springfeldt; and one sister, Martha Johnsmeyer.

Inurnment: Private family inurnment at Bushton Cemetery, Bushton, Kansas at a later date

Visitation:  1:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2014 at Bryant Funeral Home
