Ruth married Floyd Cecil Ward March 13, 1940 at Hutchinson, KS.  He died January 2, 1996.

She was homemaker and worked in the kitchen at USD 428 and St. Rose Hospital

Mrs. Ward was a Great Bend, Kansas resident  most of her life.

Ruth was a member of First United Methodist Church, and a former Sunday School Teacher for UR Welcome Sunday School Class.  She enjoyed church volunteer work.

SERVICE INFORMATION

 

Funeral Service:  Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Bryant Funeral Home

Time of Service:  10:00 a.m.

Visitation:  9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. all at Bryant Funeral Home

Interment: Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas

Memorials: Golden Belt Humane Society or Gentiva Hospice, in care of Bryant Funeral Home
