Larned – Richard C. Barstow, 90, passed away September 7, 2014, at the Veranda Senior Living, Wichita.
He was born May 20, 1924 in Larned, the son of Harold and Beda Carlson Barstow. A longtime area resident he was the Power Plant Supervisor for the City of Larned.

On April 9, 1947, he married M. Rae Harris in Pratt. She passed away March 8, 2008.
Survivors include: two daughters, Beverly Baker and husband Jerry, Wichita and Jan Ary and husband Max, Weatherford, OK., and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Barstow.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Larned with Reverend Bethann Black presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery with Military graveside rites.
