Larned – Vera L. Davis, 77, passed away September 6, 2014 at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned
She was born January 14, 1937 in Houston, MO the daughter of Arthur E. and Zella M. Goddard Ellis. An area resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Christian Church as well as an avid Bingo Player.

She married Billy B. Walker and then later Cyrillo Garcia.

Survivors include: three sons, Billy B. Walker Jr., Larned, Charles A. Walker and wife Sheryl, Albuquerque, NM, and Mathew A. Garcia, Florence; one daughter, Teri Taylor and husband Terry, Larned; three sisters Vernal Lovett, Florence, Charlotte Thompson, Halstead, Lizabeth Thornburg, Newton and eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters Geneva McGrew, Daisy Moore, and Opal Sigler; one brother Eugene Ellis and one great grandchild Lawson Pleasant.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Visitation will be from 9 am to 8 pm Monday and Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
