He married Mildred Gable October 31, 1981 at Great Bend, Kansas.

He was a heavy equipment operator in the oilfield and later worked for maintenance at Great Bend Housing Authority.

Mr. Godin was a Pawnee Rock, Kansas resident for six years, coming from Great Bend, Kansas.

four daughters: Jerrie Breese and husband Charles Chism of Ellinwood, KS, Lois Anderson of Great Bend, KS, Coni McQuiston of Pawnee Rock, KS, and Jolene McQuiston of Great Bend, KS

one sister: Theresa Madore of Malone, NY

two brothers: Charles Godin of Tupper Lake, NY, and James Godin of Valrico, FL

grandchildren: Thirteen

great-grandchildren: Fifteen

 

He was preceded in death by one son, six brothers, and one sister.

 

SERVICE INFORMATION

A private graveside inurnment will be in Pawnee Rock Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Memorials are requested to the John Godin Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
