She was a cook for Fowler Nursing Home.

Mrs. DeVorss was a Great Bend, Kan., resident since 2000 coming from Yoder, Colorado.

She was a member of Faith Community Church, Great Bend

two sons: Ron DeVorss and his wife Debra of Great Bend, KS, and Russell DeVorss and his wife Trish of Bushton, KS

two daughters: Darlene Winters and her husband Mike of Brush, CO, and Rhonda “Sherry” Weeks and her husband Bill of Rozel, KS

one sister: Katie Hopkins of Miami, OK

one brother: Tom Ewers of Strattford, TX

Grandchildren: Eleven

Great-grandchildren: Seventeen

 

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Ewers, and by sisters, Peg Penrod, Bettie Jo Perry, and by Edith McMillan.
