She married Hubert Leo Gerstenkorn July 29, 1941 at Timken, Kansas.  He died July 7, 1996.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and Daughters of Isabella, all of Great Bend.

two sons: Marvin Gerstenkorn and his wife Suzanne of Sandwich, Mass., and David P. Gerstenkorn and wife Lynn of Liberal, KS

two daughters: Joyce Winslow of Sun City, Calif., and Sally Bentley of Oak Park, Calif.

Grandchildren: Eleven

Great-grandchildren: Seventeen

 

She was preceded in death by one son, Irvin Gerstenkorn, and three sisters, Helen Oborny, Rosie Suchy and Elsie Vsetecka.

 

SERVICE INFORMATION

Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m. and Vigil Service with Daughters of Isabella Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 6, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Ted Stoecklein celebrating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to American Cancer Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
