He was business owner of Rand Properties
Mr. Rand was a Great Bend, Kansas resident. He served in the US Army during WWII in the Army Medical Corp for two years. He worked in the oil fields with Harms Petroleum for 33 years. In 1949 he met the love of his life Betty Lou Rutter in Pratt, Kansas, they were married April 17, 1949 in Coats, Kansas. She passed away July 15, 2015.

Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend, Kansas
Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday November 24, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends form 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
