OBITUARY INFORMATION

Married Dorothy A. Gitgood January 2, 1952 at Great Bend, Kansas.

He was owner and operator of Leroy’s Apco and later a salesman for Reiter Chevrolet.

Mr. Foos was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1946 coming from Cheyenne, Wyo.

He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, A. F. & A. M. Masonic Lodge #15, York and Scottish Rite, all of Great Bend. He was instrumental in starting the SRCA Drag Strip in Great Bend.

three sons: Lonnie Foos and companion Sandra Parret of Larned, KS, Fred Foos and his wife Debbi of Owasso, OK, and David Foos and his wife Georgia of Derby, KS

one brother: Howard Lee Foos of Great Bend, KS

eight grandchildren

eleven great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by one brother, George Foos, Jr., and two sisters, Carol Meyers and Janette Williams.

Time of Service: 10:30 a.m.

Place of Service: Great Bend Cemetery in Great Bend

Officiant: The Reverend Josh Foster

Interment: Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

Memorial Fund: Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home
