Richard J. Cash Sr.

Larned – Richard J. Cash Sr., 77, passed away May 16, 2016 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.

He was born March 11, 1939 in Siler City, North Carolina; the son of Herman Woodrow and Jacksie Mildred Poole Cash. A current resident of Larned, moving from Stafford in November he was a Stafford resident for 30 years.

He was a member of The Fathers House, Larned. He loved restoring old cars and antiques.

On June 2, 1962 he married Betty “Gale” Coonce in Greeleyville, South Carolina. She survives.

Other survivors include; two sons, Richard David Cash, Joplin, Missouri and Richard Jeffery Cash Jr., Erie; a daughter, Tammy Lynette Locke, Larned; two brothers, Herman W. Cash, Joplin, Missouri and Walter Thomas Cash, Branson, Missouri; a sister, Betty Sue Cooper, Andrews, South Carolina; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Smith.

Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Michael Pfortmiller presiding. Friends may sign the register Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
