He was a United States Army veteran.

He was a member of American Legion Argonne Post 180, Great Bend.

two daughters: Maryann Whaley of Great Bend and Courtnie Whaley of Oklahoma City, Okla.

six sisters: Trish Warren of Hutchinson, Stacee Anderson of El Dorado, Cherie Shaver of Larned, Keithetta Duff, Milinda Williams and Jenifer Coffey

four brothers: Cody Whaley of Larned, Tom Cady of Salina, Bruce Jones of Larned, and Buddy Hook of Kingman

Grandchildren: Three

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Kevin Jones, LeRoy Hook and Robyn Jones and two sisters, Georgia Tammen and Rita Denning.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Memorial Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Bryant Funeral Home. The family requests attendees wear their favorite sports team attire to the service. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to the Curtis Whaley Funeral Expense Fund or Children’s Education Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
