He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Great Bend.

five great-grandchildren: Isaiah Butler, Leah Butler, Noah Butler, Dayvion Read and Jaden Read

two step grandchildren: Brian Bowers and Brittany Bowers

four step-great-grandchildren: Briley Bowers, Brax Bowers, Brikan Bowers and Braze Bowers

He was preceded in death by infant son Curtis Dean Schneidewind, one sister, Sharon Werth; and one grandson, Steven Craig Schneidewind.

Visitation:  4:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 30, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home
