ST. JOHN – Daniel R. “Dan” Hampton went to be with his Lord on April 22, 2016, with his children by his side. He was born Feb. 6, 1934, in Larned, to Clarence and Wanda Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Delores Gleason; and brother, David Hampton. He is survived by his children, Doug Hampton, Dawn Strain, Denise (Dean) Robeson and David (Pauline) Hampton; six grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 18 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend. A special thank you to the staff at Kenwood Plaza in St. John for their kind and caring support. Memorials may be given to Kenwood Plaza, 607 E. 1st Ave., St. John, KS 67576.
