A homemaker, Mrs. Hoelscher was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1999, coming from Bushton.

She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Bushton and First United Methodist Church, Great Bend, since 1999. She enjoyed sporting events, sewing and cooking.

four daughters: Lisa Ryan and her husband Jim of Claflin, Rosemary Werdahl of Claflin, Phyllis Johnson of Manhattan, and Rita Hoelscher of Manhattan

two sisters: Frances Zimmerman of Moore, OK, Sue Algrim and her husband Gene of Hutchinson

eight grandchildren: Brandon Werdahl, Lakesha Johnson, Jasmin Johnson, Michael Ryan, Janae Ryan, Devin Ryan, Emily Ryan and Peyton Ryan

 

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Neva Parker and Betty Lou Shann.

Place of Service: Salem United Methodist Church, rural Bushton

Interment: Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend, Kansas

Visitation:  Noon to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home
