Larned – Bryan E. Laing, 60, passed away July 17, 2016, at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.

He was born June 16, 1956, in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of Larry and Phyllis Depoy Laing. A longtime area resident, he was a carpenter.

He was a member of the Assembly Of God Church, Larned. He loved to fish and ride motorcycles and also served in the United States Army.

On August 15, 2005, he married Kerri A. Broughton in Larned. She passed away March 21, 2016.

Survivors include: two sons, Chris Laing, Topeka, Ryan McQuitty, Burleson, Texas; five daughters, Laree Laing and Shawna Wilder, both of Larned, Chantay Handley, Salina, Elisha Halbert, Caldwell, Rachael Bell, Canadian, Texas; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jameson McQuitty.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Friday at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery at Fort Dodge, with Pastor Leroy Lyon presiding.
