OBITUARY INFORMATION

She married Darrell Otis Batchman August 7, 1955 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Albert, Kansas.

She worked for Larned State Hospital for 30 years, retiring as an Activity Therapist. Following retirement, she worked at the Center for Counseling.

Mrs. Batchman was a lifetime Barton County resident, living in the Pawnee Rock and Great Bend area.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, south of Albert. She enjoyed horses, and reading science fiction and murder mysteries.

one son: Richard Batchman and his wife Debbie of Ellinwood

three grandsons: Christopher Batchman and companion Alexandria Stimpson, Bryce Batchman and his wife Lindsey and Eric Batchman

seven great-grandchildren: Isaac Stimpson, Bradyn Batchman, Camryn Batchman, Alexander Gage Batchman, Avigeil Batchman, Jack Batchman and Oliver Batchman

Prayer Service: 7 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home

Interment: Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend, Kansas

Visitation:  1 to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home
