GREAT BEND — Joyce M. Heinz-Strecker, 64, died Nov. 2, 2016 at her home in Great Bend. Born March 23, 1952 at Dodge City, she was the daughter of Robert E. and Esther (Rohlman) Heinz. She married Dennis Strecker, Jr. May 6, 1989 at Garden City. A Great Bend resident since 1989, coming from Garden City, Mrs. Strecker worked in customer service at Dillons for 22 years.

She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society, Great Bend.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Strecker, Jr., of the home; one sister, Patty Oborny of Heizer; and two brothers, Robert J. Heinz and his wife JoAnn of Pottsboro, Texas, and Edwin Paul Heinz and his wife Angie of Garden City; and father-in-law, Dennis Strecker, Sr. of Great Bend.

Altar Society Rosary will be at 4 p.m. and Vigil Service will be at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Don Bedore celebrating. Inurnment will be in Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery, Ellinwood. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials have been established with Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
