GREAT BEND — Able Lee King, Jr., 60, died Nov. 25, 2016, at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend. Born Dec. 26, 1955, he was the son of Able Lee and Nancy (Harris) King. He married Shirley A. McCoy May 16, 1985, at Montrose, Ark. A Great Bend resident, Mr. King was an elder with the Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley A. King, of the home; one son, Leroy Grayson of Great Bend; four daughters, Catherine Osburn, Shelia Rodriguez and Deborah Grayson, all of Great Bend, and Monica King of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one brother, James King of Kansas City; three sisters, Dorothy Harvor of Crossett, Ark., Linda of Guthrie, Okla., and Elouise King of St. Louis, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny King.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, and 9 a.m. to service time, Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Able King Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
