Burdett – Robert C. Gorman, 83, passed away December 11, 2016 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.

He was born March 16, 1933 in Waco, Texas; the son of J. Paul and Winnie Reagen Gorman. A lifetime area resident he was an Oil and Gas Engineer.

He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church, American Legion, Burdett, the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Society of Safety Engineers.

He married Cleo M. Warner on December 27, 1965 in Burdett. She survives.

Other survivors include; two sons, Robert (Sheila) Gorman, McPherson and Paul (Erin) Gorman, Fort Worth, TX; a daughter, Kathy (Roger) Stoll, Niamey Niger, West Africa and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Gorman.

Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Faith Fellowship Church with Pastor Doug Ellison presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in Brown’s Grove Cemetery, Burdett.
