Great Bend – S. Larry Edwardson, 79, died December 10, 2016 at Cherry Village in Great Bend. Born May 11, 1937 at Crisfield, MD, the son of Christian F. and Grace (Hoffmeyer) Edwardson. He married Carole Powell May 15, 1965, in Wilmington, DE. Larry retired from a long career as a Certified Financial Planner with Waddell & Reed, Inc.

Survivors include wife Carole of the home; daughter Amy Edwardson of Wichita; son David Edwardson of Great Bend; sister Lorna Mitten of Milford, DE and many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by daughter Susan, brothers Christian and Edward and sister Lorraine.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation has taken place.

Memorials have been established with the Salvation Army or The Storm Special Olympics in Great Bend, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
