ADELA RAMIREZ AGUIRRE 

Adela Ramirez Aguirre, age 62 years, of Great Bend, Kansas, passed away on Sunday evening, December 3, 2017 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.   Adela was born on December 16, 1954 at Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Felipe and Hortencia (Zubia) Aguirre.   She was united in marriage to Ubaldo Ramirez on June 25, 1990 at Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, and the couple moved to Great Bend in 1994.   Adela was a homemaker and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Prince of Peace Parish in Great Bend, Kansas.

Survivors include her husband, Ubaldo Ramirez of Great Bend, Kansas; four sons:   Felix (and his wife, Emedina) Serna of Chihuahua, Mexico, Luis (and his wife, Marcela) Serna of Great Bend, Kansas, Juan (and his wife, Maria) Serna of Great Bend, Kansas, and Jose Uriel of Chihuahua, Mexico; two daughters:   Consuelo Serna and Elena Ramirez, both of Great Bend, Kansas; twenty-one grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Amador Aguirre of Coyame, Mexico; three sisters:   Leopolda Aguirre of Odessa, Texas, Mercedes Aguirre of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, and Marta Aguirre of Great Bend, Kansas; many nieces and nephews.   Adela was preceded in death by one son, Alejandro Serna; one daughter, Consuelo Serna; one brother, Servando Aguirre; and two sisters:   Candelaria Aguirre and Luz Aguirre.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Great Bend Cemetery North in Great Bend, Kansas.   Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Charter Funerals in Great Bend, Kanas with a Vigil Service and Rosary at 7:30 PM.   Memorials may be directed to the Adela Ramirez Aguirre Funeral Expense Fund.   Online condolences may be left and a complete obituary may be viewed at https://www.charterfunerals.com/locations/great-bend.php.
