Both the Great Bend boys and girls took 2nd Thursday at the Swather Cross Country Special in Hesston.
The boys finished just behind Western Athletic Conference rival Dodge City in the team standings while the girls took second behind Bishop Carroll.
Ryan Nicholson had the highest finish for the boys taking 2nd while Mayra Ramirez won the junior 6-5-4 division.
