Larned- Charles M. Wonsetler, 85, passed away August 6, 2015 at his residence in Larned, KS.
He was born March 8, 1930 in Larned, the son of Charles H. “Sam” and Clara VanDanacker Wonsetler. A lifetime area resident, he was a Production Manager for Doerr Metal.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW, and President of the Welcome Inn Senior Center.

On May 26, 1954 in Larned, he married Josephine “Jo” Mooney. She passed away October 8, 2004.

Survivors include: one son, Marty Wonsetler and wife Dori, Great Bend, KS; one Daughter, Noreen Applegate and husband Lynn, Lawrence, KS. and one sister, Mary Ann Spence, Lewis, KS.

He was preceded in death by, one brother, Remigius “Bud” Wonsetler and one sister, Charlene Williams.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Warren Stecklein presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. A vigil service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be at the Larned Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites.
