He married Bertha M. Wells November 9, 1940 at Great Bend, Kansas.  She died June 17, 2008.

He was warehouse manager for O’Neill Tank Company.

Mr. Priesner was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1939 coming from Hoisington, Kansas.

He was a United States Merchant Marine veteran, serving during World War II.

He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #862, both of Great Bend.

two sons: Richard Priesner and his wife Patsy of Grand Junction, CO, and Roger Priesner and his wife Loretta of Bryan, TX

one daughter: Beverly Lawyer and her husband Ronald of Austin, TX

Grandchildren: Three

Great-grandchildren: Twelve

He was preceded in death by six sisters, Annie, Mary, Othielda, Walberga, Emma, and Cecelia.

 

SERVICE INFORMATION

Vigil Service with Knights of Columbus Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Ted Stoecklein celebrating. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, August 24, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Prince of Peace Parish or Holy Family School Endowment Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
