Larned – Anna Mae Dreese, 86, passed away Wednesday March 2, 2016, at Diversicare of Larned.

She was born May 18, 1929 at Lewis, Kansas, the Daughter of Glenn A. and Ada M. Johnson Walker. She was an LPN at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Larned and CKMC St. Rose Campus, Great Bend, working in the OB departments, she also worked as a private nurse for many families.

She was a member of the Larned United Methodist Church and the Larned United Methodist Woman.

On October 8, 1950 she married Kenneth Delbert Dreese. He passed away February 4, 2007.

Survivors include: a son, Donald K. Dreese (Tammy), Larned; a daughter, Barbara D. Fulton (Ross), Larned; three sisters, Betty Williamson, Hutchinson, Myrna Wood, Great Bend, Jean Belcher, Salina; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: a daughter, Deborah D. Dreese; a brother Frank Walker and a sister Mildred Schlaefli.

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Larned United Methodist Church with Rev. Bethann Black and Rev. Jack Singer presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday with family present from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at the Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas.
