Larned – Larry L. Miller, 73, passed away March 27, 2016 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.
He was born March 11, 1943 in Great Bend, Kansas; the son of Warren W. and Glennis Evelyn Lile Miller. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer and an auctioneer.
He was a member of the American Legion Post No.106, served in the Armed Forces from 1965-1971, was a past board member of the Pawnee County COOP, Pointview Cemetery board member, National Rifle Association, Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his children; Lisa Wyatt (Ricky), Great Bend, Lacy Pfannenstiel (Dustin), Norton, Lyle Miller (Michelle Kennedy), Larned, Lori Behnke (Ben), Bushton, Lynn Miller (Jessie), Larned, Lonny Miller, Larned and Troy Miller, Council Bluff, Iowa; Larry’s fiancé, Sandra Moffet, Larned; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother Brian Miller.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary with Pastor Mark Slattery presiding, the family requests that friends and family please dress casual for the funeral service. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday with family present from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial with military graveside rites will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned, Kansas.
